NEW NEW NEW - TREASURE HUNT
This playful and intelligent concept focuses on mobilising children around a common goal and on team building. It aims to promote creative thinking and problem solving skills, as well as develop French/English language skills naturally through fun.
For the 4-6 year olds, it provides a fun opportunity to enrich their vocabulary and develop their linguistic skills and oral communication, through a wide range of interactive and engaging activities.
For the 7-11 year olds, it provides the perfect setting to also reinforce and enrich their reading, spelling, conjugation and grammar skills, in a stimulating and enjoyable way.
Riddles and challenges are the guiding thread of the quest. Clues are given in the form of picture cards, rebuses, codes, charades, etc. The youngest children are provided with picture or material hints, whereas the older ones also have to sort out written clues, some of which to be read aloud.
Each riddle encourages critical thinking, problem solving and games, including physical games/challenges (series of obstacles, mime...).
The quest ends at the end of the week when the children have deciphered the last riddle and fulfilled the last challenge.
Either they will have found the treasure or they will have discovered the outcome of the story or unlock the mystery to solve the investigation (for the older ones only).
This special programme also includes stories, songs, crafts, etc. in relation to the theme.
